HOMAGE: TO DR KENNETH SINANAN

‘ … a man skilled at his work … ‘
Proverbs 22:29

Killed years ago before we met, deceit
Enwebbing, truest love, cast on a bed
Not able to get up off – tomb complete:
Now though transported seeds, as Jesus said.

Elijah fled exhausted, wanted death.
The angel touched him, vouchsafed bread and breath.
He ventured into sands for YAHWEH’s aid.

Sinai, harsh cliffs of God, who spoke again,
In still small voice of face-cloak sovereignty,
No state apostasy outside his ken
And cure. I fell away too. Yet you see

New life through Cross received. Such progress made,
Anterior – zilch. You say it’s Clozapine.
No doubt. More still the LORD on whom I lean.
